Premolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1102 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The community lies on the edge of the Bergamasque Alps . Premolo is located about 29 kilometers northeast of Bergamo. A few kilometers east of Premolo, the Serio flows through the Val Seriana .
