Azzone is located about 45 km northeast of the provincial capital Bergamo and 90 km north-east of the metropolis of Milan and includes the fractions Dezzo di Scalve and Dosso . The neighboring municipalities are Angolo Terme (BS), Borno (BS), Colere , Schilpario and Vilminore di Scalve .
