Songavazzo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 710 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The municipality is located a little less than 40 kilometers northeast of Bergamo near the province of Brescia . In 1294 the community was first mentioned as Summus Gavatio .
