Covo is an Italian commune ( comune ) in the province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region with 4168 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

geography

Covo is 25 km southeast of the provincial capital Bergamo and 45 km east of the metropolis of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Antegnate , Barbata , Calcio , Cortenuova , Fara Olivana con Sola , Isso and Romano di Lombardia .

Attractions

  • The parish church, built towards the end of the 18th century on the site of an old cult site and dedicated to Saints Filippo and Giacomo. A relic of San Lazzaro is also kept there.
  • Numerous farmhouses from the 16th and 17th centuries have been preserved throughout the entire municipality.
