Parre is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2711 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . In 928 the place is mentioned for the first time as Villa de Parre . The place is about 30 kilometers northeast of Bergamo on the edge of the Bergamasque Alps . The Serio flows a few kilometers to the east , so that Parre is also part of the Valle Seriana .

A culinary specialty is the scarpinocc , a ravioli dish with cheese, egg and butter.
