Location and dates

Spinone al Lago is located about 30 km east of Bergamo on the left bank of Lake Endine . The neighboring municipalities are Bianzano , Casazza , Gaverina Terme , Monasterolo del Castello and Ranzanico .

history

Until a few decades ago the community was called Spinone dei castelli. In the Middle Ages, the Suardi family influenced the history of the municipality.

Attractions

The fort dates from the 15th century. The church of San Pietro in Vincoli di Spinone al Lago probably dates from the 11th century, the exact date is not known.
