Torre Boldone is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8825 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The municipality borders directly on the provincial capital Bergamo and is three kilometers away from the core. The Serio flows east of the municipality .

The population of the place has more than doubled since the 1960s (approx. 3600 inhabitants) until today.

The church, dedicated to Saint Martin, was built in 1739 according to the plans of the builder Giovan Battista Caniana .
