Selvino is a municipality ( comune ) with 2020 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the northern Italian province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 22 kilometers northeast of Bergamo and 60 kilometers northeast of Milan .

The place was first mentioned in a document in 955 as Salvino . Selvino was the stage of the Giro d'Italia in 1988 and 1995 .
