Comun Nuovo is an Italian commune in the province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region with 4436 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Comun Nuovo is located nine km south of the provincial capital Bergamo and 40 km northeast of the metropolis of Milan.

The neighboring municipalities are Levate , Spirano , Stezzano , Urgnano , Verdello and Zanica .

Attractions

There are still numerous traces of the Middle Ages in the town center. These include the castle of the Suardi family and its tower, which is now used as the parish church's bell tower.

The parish church of San Salvatore was built in the 16th century and restored at the beginning of the 20th century. In the church there is an altarpiece by Giovanni Battista Moroni .
