Romano di Lombardia is a small town and municipality ( comune ) in the northern Italian province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The city is located about 45 kilometers east of Milan and about 25 kilometers from Bergamo in the Val Pardana . The municipality has had city rights since 1962 through a presidential decree.

La Rocca
  • The fortress ( ital. Rocca ) from the 12th century,
  • Palazzo della Ragione , built in the 13th century with numerous frescoes and a portico. Formerly fish market. The building is believed to date from Roman antiquity, but it also has Gothic-style features (particularly the portico). The portico was created in the 14th century by Bartolomeo Colleoni .
