Zanica is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8804 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Bergamo in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 6 kilometers south of the provincial capital Bergamo and about 45 kilometers northeast of Milan .
