Noppadon Pattama

Noppadon Pattama (born April 23, 1961 in Amphoe Sida , Nakhon Ratchasima Province ) is a Thai politician and lawyer. From February to July 2008 he was his country's foreign minister .

Noppadon Pattama studied law at Thammasat University . He completed master's degrees at the University of London and the University of Oxford . It was founded in 1991 as a member of Lincoln's Inn to barrister admitted. After meeting Chuan Leekpai in Great Britain , he joined his Democratic Party in the same year . He became Chuan's personal secretary during his tenure as opposition leader from 1995 to 1997. After the Democrats took over, he was secretary to Foreign Minister Surin Pitsuwan . After the change of government in 2001, he went over to the Thai-Rak-Thai party of the new Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra . After Thaksin's overthrow by the military coup in September 2006 , he became his legal advisor.

In December 2007, the military-appointed interim government held elections, which the Thaksin-affiliated party of people's power won. Then Noppadon was from February 6 to July 14, 2008 Foreign Minister under Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej . He resigned after being accused of being overly indulgent in the border conflict with Cambodia .
