Eckhard Fasold

Eckhard Fasold (born May 10, 1936 in Berlin ; † March 6, 2020 in Osnabrück ) was a German politician ( SPD ) who, among other things, worked as a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

In 1958, Fasold began to study pedagogy with the subjects German and sport in Kiel . He passed the second state examination in Osnabrück , where he initially worked as a teacher at the Schinkel comprehensive school from 1971 , and from 1973 to 1990 he also worked as its headmaster. In 1981 he was in the city of Osnabrueck councilor and was of 21 June 1990 to 2003 member of the Lower Saxony state parliament (12th to 14th term). Until 2001 he acted as school policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group.

From 2002 to 2012, Fasold headed the Evangelical Foundations Osnabrück as honorary chairman .

Fasold was married to Doris Fasold, b. Keitel, and had three sons.
