Eckhard Jedicke

Eckhard Jedicke (* 1962 in Bad Arolsen ) is a German geographer specializing in landscape ecology . He is professor for landscape development at the Geisenheim University .

Eckhard Jedicke did his community service from 1981 to 1983 in the Hesse Nature Conservation Center in Wetzlar. He then studied geography with the minor subjects botany and soil science at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen . This was followed by a freelance work as an ecological expert and publicist on nature conservation topics. In 1990 Jedicke received his doctorate from the Geographical Institute of the Justus Liebig University in Giessen in the Biotope Association.

Today he is professor for landscape development at the Geisenheim University and editor of the journal " Naturschutz und Landschaftsplanung " (Ulmer Verlag).
