Eckhard Momberger

Eckhard Momberger (born June 18, 1937 in Nieder-Weisel ) is a former German insurance lawyer and district administrator of the Schlüchtern district .

Life

Momberger studied law. After his legal preparatory service, he became personal assistant to the Hessian Finance Minister Albert Osswald, who was a member of the SPD . After receiving his doctorate in 1968 at the University of Marburg , at the age of 33, he was elected the last district administrator in the district of Schlüchtern in 1970. He held the office until 1974, in the same year the district was dissolved and merged into the Main-Kinzig district .

In 1975 he became a member of the board of the then Hessen-Nassauische Versicherungsanstalten (today part of SV SparkassenVersicherung ), of which he became chairman of the board in 1981. In 1994 Momberger was appointed deputy chairman of the board of directors of the Hessian-Thuringian fire insurance company Kassel-Erfurt (Brandkasse) and in 1996 a member of the joint board of the Hessian and Nassau fire insurance companies in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden. He accompanied the merger of the fire insurers with SparkassenVersicherung on July 1, 1997. At the end of June 1998 Momberger retired.

In addition, he was active in numerous committees of the leading associations of the insurance industry. At the German Red Cross , he was President of the State Association of Hesse, and today he is honorary chairman of the Finance Committee.

Momberger lives in Niedernhausen - Engenhahn .
