Ecko is a group of American fashion companies and brands founded by Marc Ecko (born as Marc Milecofsky in 1972 in Lakewood, New Jersey). The best known among them is * eckō unltd, founded in 1993 .

Marc Ecko's products are offered in 45 countries. In 2004, its brand conglomerate made total sales of around one billion euros.

In the mid-1980s, Marc Ecko began making T-shirts with graffiti in the garage of his parents' house . He himself was active in the hip hop and graffiti scene for a number of years and drew a lot during his pharmacy studies. A little later, his products were scene East Coast and of artists in the Spike Lee and Chuck D. worn. In 2008 he became the youngest member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) board of directors.

Since the European sales insolvency in 2014, the brand could no longer be obtained in Europe. In 2016 the company Roadmap1 acquired the rights to the brand for the European market. Roadmap1 is a subsidiary of DefShop GmbH from Berlin, which was founded in early 2016. Since October 2016, the brand can again be acquired across Europe. The range includes hoodies, T-shirts, pants, jackets, shirts and jogging suits and is partly available up to size 6XL.
