Ede Whiteman
Ede Whiteman (actually Carsten Dankowski) is a German reggae singer who comes from the Derne district of Dortmund . He was best known through publications on the Internet.
Life
Ede Whiteman has been making music since 1991, first with the band Father Riddim , then from 1995 with Atair under the name Koma Mobb . At East West Records , two singles and an album Koma Mobb appeared.
"Ede Whiteman" is a pseudonym. Ede stands for "One of the Elite", the name Whiteman refers to the fact that Ede Whiteman, unlike most other reggae musicians, has no African roots.
His song Lay your arms down / Friedenskrieger was also released in 2005 on some samplers and as a vinyl single on Mkzwo Records and was voted 5th in the Riddim magazine's readers' poll in the category Best National Tune . In 2007 the album Gute Reise was released on the Dortmund label Paffbong Records. Another album was released in 2014 under the title Ich bleib Pirat .
