Edgar Mejía (born July 17, 1988 in Guadalajara , Jalisco ) is a Mexican football player . Officially a defender in the Chivas Guadalajara squad for the 2009/10 season , Mejía can be used in various positions due to his versatile qualities.

Career

Edgar "Chore" Mejía spent his entire youthful career in the youth teams of his home club Deportivo Guadalajara , from where he worked his way up to the first team of the professional squad.

He made his first division debut on November 11, 2006 in the last game of the Apertura 2006 league round in a game against the Jaguares de Chiapas , which Guadalajara won 1-0.
