Edge of Dawn is a German futurepop band. It was founded by Mario Schumacher and since 2005 has also consisted of Frank M. Spinath , who, in addition to his professorship for psychology, is also active in other, stylistically similar projects, such as Seabound and Ghost & Writer. The EP The Flight (Lux) was created in the same year they met .
The first regular album release took place in 2007 on Dependent Records . Enjoy the Fall deals with the dramatic course of the relationship with a partner with borderline syndrome . The debut and the following EP ( Borderline Black Heart ) are in the top 20 of the annual ranking of the German Alternative Charts (DAC). In 2010 the album Anything That Gets You Through The Night and another EP were released.
