Edith Hagg

Edith Hagg (born August 20, 1954 in Gmunden ; † January 15, 2006 in Linz ) was an Austrian television journalist.

Hagg studied sociology in Linz , in 1974 she began her career as a freelancer at ORF - Upper Austria , initially in the cultural department, and from 1978 as a salaried editor in the current service. Her focus area was election coverage, which she moderated on the radio herself from 1988 onwards.

Most recently she was editor-in-chief at the ORF regional studio in Salzburg from 2002 . Because of her cancer, she had to resign in autumn 2005. She left an 18-year-old daughter when she died.
