Edition Tusch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Edition ink was active from 1972 to about 2000 books and art publisher in Vienna .

Anton Tusch , owner of a large printing company founded in 1958 as a one-man company based in Vienna, later Neudörfl ( Burgenland ), managed the Edition Tusch as a highly cultural figurehead of his printing and publishing group for several decades. The graphics studio of Edition Tusch existed like the publisher itself since April 1, 1972. Under “Edition Tusch”, however, occasional publications appeared before 1972 (for example at Verlag Schroll). The publishing program was shaped by Kristian Sotriffer for over a decade , and the publications, which were designed in a technically appealing manner, received several awards. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, however, the large printer lost interest in the publisher that was not financially profitable and it was de facto shut down.
