Edizioni Sylvestre Bonnard

Edizioni Sylvestre Bonnard is an Italian book publisher based in Milan .

The publishing house was founded in 1995 by Vittorio Di Giuro and Luca Formenton. The name of the publisher refers to the literary figure of Professor Bonnard, the protagonist of Anatole France 's novel of the same name . The publishing program focuses on the subjects of book studies , book illustration , bibliophilia , typography , librarianship and the history of collections. According to the publisher's self-portrayal, it is the intention of Edizioni Sylvestre Bonnard to «publish books that are about books».
