Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura is a scientific publisher in Italy based in Rome .

The publishing house was founded in Rome in 1941 by Don Giuseppe De Luca . The publishing program specializes in academic literature in the fields of philology , history , art history , philosophy and theology . A special focus of the publishing house is on the publication of correspondence between well-known scientists as well as on contributions to the historical auxiliary sciences such as bibliography , book history and palaeography . As a specialist scientific publisher, the Edizioni di Storia e Letteratura publish not only in Italian, but also in German, English, French or Latin. The individual titles of the publisher appear in thematically related book series such as the series "Sussidi Eruditi". In the most famous series of the publisher with the title "Storia e Letteratura" the collected writings are among others by authors such as Ludwig Bertalot , Herbert Bloch , Peter Dronke , Eduard Fraenkel , Werner Jaeger , Paul Oskar Kristeller , Friedrich Leo , Anneliese Maier , Angelo Mercati , Arnaldo Momigliano and Berthold Louis Ullman appeared.
