Edmond Doutté
Edmond Doutté (* 1867 in Évreux ; † 1926 in Paris ) was a French scholar of Islam . In particular, he dealt with the manifestations of Islam in the Maghreb , with a focus on the then French regions of Algeria and Morocco . He was a professor in Algiers at the École supérieure des lettres d'Alger .
