Edmond L. DePatie

Edmond L. DePatie ( January 27, 1900 - August 6, 1966 ) was Vice President and Manager of Warner Bros. Burbank Studios.

He became president of the Motion Picture Relief Fund in 1955 and later campaigned for the establishment of a Motion Picture Exposition and Hall of Fame to honor the motion picture industry and generate profits for the Motion Picture & Television Fund Country House . However, this project was unsuccessful, and despite efforts over several years, a Hollywood museum in favor of the Country House could not be implemented.

Shortly before his death, DePatie received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for his services at the 1966 Academy Awards .

DePatie died of a myocardial infarction while vacationing in Chowchilla , California at the age of 66.
