Edmund Renard (the Elder) (* 1830 ; † 1905 ) was a German sculptor and cathedral sculptor at Cologne Cathedral .

The children Heinrich Renard , Edmund Renard the Younger, Luise Maria Renard 1865 -?, Josef Engelbert Ludwig Renard 1867–1930 (church painter), Georg Renard 1859–1870, Wilhelmine Renard 1872– came from the marriage with the sister of the architect Heinrich Wiethase. 1876.
