Edmundas Žilevičius
Edmundas Žilevičius (born July 31, 1955 in Prienai ) is a Lithuanian economist and politician , Vice Minister of Finance.
Life
In 1978 Žilevičius graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas in Kaunas . From 1978 to 1979 he worked as an economist in the Soviet Lithuanian Ministry of Finance . From 1979 to 1985 Žilevičius was chief economist and from 1991 to 1992 head of the privatization subdivision . In 1996 he worked as secretary of the ministry and department director. From 2002 to 2009 Žilevičius was secretary. Since July 2009 he has been Vice Minister in the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania .
