Edmundas Kibirkštis

Edmundas Kibirkštis (born January 2, 1947 in Grūtas , Wolost Varėna , now Druskininkai municipality ) is a Lithuanian engineer.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, Kibirkštis graduated from Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI) in Kaunas in 1970 . On June 20, 1980 he did his doctorate on "Autovirpesių tipo pneumatinių vibrosužadintuvų sukūrimas ir ištyrimas". On June 30, 1993 he completed his habilitation in technology on "Daugiafunkcinių pneumatinių keitiklių, dirbančių autovirpesių režime, sukūrimas ir ištyrimas. Teorija ir taikymas". From 1971 to 1981 he worked in the laboratory of the research center sector "Vibrotechnika" and from 1981 taught at the KPI, from 1990 at the Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 1985 he was head of the mechanics laboratory , from 1994 to 1995 head of the chair for applied mechanics. Since 1994 he is Professor .
