Edmundas Kučinskas (born April 26, 1955 in Palanga ) is a Lithuanian singer, songwriter and musician. Edmundas Kučinskas is one of the most productive and successful pop singers in Lithuania and is also in demand for live performances with a band.

Life

Edmundas Kučinskas graduated from the University of Klaipėda in 1985 with jazz as a specialty. Since 1973 he has been giving concerts in Lithuania. He is the author of a number of pop hits that topped the Lithuanian charts. He presented the music show "Penktadienio muzikos šou" (≈ Friday's musical show) on TV3 (Viasat) . From 2003 to 2011 he was a member of the Klaipėda Municipality and a representative on the Klaipėda City Council .

Edmundas Kučinskas is divorced. He separated from his wife in 2016 after over 42 years of marriage. With his former wife Galina Kučinskienė (* 1954) he has a daughter Elina (* 1978).
