Edmundo Manzotti

Edmundo Manzotti , also known by the nickname Pirulí (Eng. Permanent lollipop ), is a former Argentine soccer player who played for various Mexican clubs in the 1940s and 1950s and was Mexican soccer champion three times and was a member of the squad four times in a row (1948 to 1951) Belonged to the team that won the Mexican Supercup .

career

Manzotti probably came to Club León in 1946 , with whom he won the Mexican championship and the Supercup twice in 1948 and 1949, and the Mexican cup competition in 1949 .

In 1949 Manzotti moved to Atlas Guadalajara , with whom he was allowed to celebrate his “personal cup defense” in 1950 and won the Mexican championship one more time in the 1950/51 season.

In the 1953/54 season Manzotti was under contract with Puebla FC .
