Oskar Eduard Bénazet (born May 30, 1801 in Bordeaux , † December 2, 1867 in Nice ) was a Baden-Baden entrepreneur.

He was the son of Jacques Bénazet , who received a casino license in Baden-Baden in 1838.

After his father's death, Edouard Bénazet took over the management of the casino in 1848 . With the casino income he helped to increase the attractiveness of the city. He had both the magnificent halls of the casino and the city ​​theater built on Goetheplatz .

In Iffezheim , Bénazet invested 300,000 francs in the construction of the horse racing track and three grandstands.

The Bénazet hall in the Kurhaus Baden-Baden and the Bénazet grandstand built in 2004 at the Iffezheim racecourse are named after him.
