Edouard Bineau

Edouard Bineau (born July 17, 1969 ) is a French jazz pianist .

Live and act

At the age of 14, Bineau began to play the guitar and harmonica in blues groups. At 19, he took piano lessons, started playing jazz and began performing in various Parisian jazz clubs. A first trio album ( Exodus ) was created in 2002, followed by Ideal Circus in 2005 . In 2007 he recorded the album L'obsessioniste with the clarinetist Sébastien Texier , a tribute to the Facteur Cheval and his Palais Idéal . In 2010 he recorded the quartet album Wared with his own compositions; In his Wared Quartet he plays with the German soprano saxophonist Daniel Erdmann as well as the bassist Gildas Boclé and the drummer Arnaud Lechantre. Bineau lives in Palaiseau ( Essonne department ).
