Eduard Demmer ( 1791 in Mannheim - August 14, 1851 ) was a German theater actor .

Life

Demmer, son of Carl Demmer (1760-1811, not to be confused with the actor Carl Demer ) tried his hand at the stage as early as 1809, but only went to the theater three years later. In the beginning he played amateur roles, but he soon realized that he was not qualified for this subject and that he was more in his place as an intriguer. And so in 1818 he switched to this subject, which he held with great success until his death. From 1816 until his death he was engaged in Karlsruhe.
