Eduard Eckhardt

Eduard Eckhardt (born May 23, 1864 in Tambow ; † December 7, 1944 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German English librarian and librarian.

Life

Eckhardt studied German and English philology and was born in Freiburg i.Br. in 1889. PhD. From 1891 he worked at the Freiburg University Library . In 1902 he became a private lecturer at the University of Freiburg , and in 1910 he became an associate professor there. He remained active in the library service until his retirement in 1929.
