Eduard Euller

Eduard Euller (born April 20, 1874 in Linz ; † November 15, 1935 there ) was a social democratic politician and mayor of Linz from 1929 to 1930 .

The trained printer and typesetter was represented on the Linz municipal council from 1909 to 1934 (with an interruption due to the First World War ) .

From 1927 until the civil war and the subsequent ban on all political parties except the Fatherland Front in February 1934, Euller was district chairman of the Social Democratic Party . For a short time he was also District Secretary of the Social Democrats under Josef Dametz . He was also a member of the state parliament , a member of the Federal Council - his successor was Marie Beutlmayr - and a member of the city council .

During the tenure of Mayor Robert Mehr from 1927 to 1929, Euller was Vice Mayor. From October 15, 1929 to May 28, 1930 he was mayor of the city of Linz. In this office he was inherited by Josef Gruber .

Eduard Euller died on November 15, 1935 in his hometown of Linz.
