Robert More
Robert Mehr (born April 1, 1886 in Linz ; † April 21, 1935 there ) was a social democratic politician and mayor of Linz from 1927 to 1929.
Robert Mehr came from a large family of railroad workers, whose youngest child he was. He was also railwaymen and learned in a workshop of the Federal Railways, the locksmith .
In addition, he was involved in the Social Democratic Labor Party , for which he was represented on the Linz city school board from 1920 to 1931. From 1919 to 1932 he was a member of the Upper Austrian state parliament and the Linz municipal council. He was also Vice Mayor of Linz from 1919 to 1923.
On September 29, 1927, Mehr was elected to succeed the late Mayor Josef Dametz . He held this office until October 15, 1929. He was succeeded by Eduard Euller .
