Eduard Freudenheim

Eduard Freudenheim (* unknown) is a former Austrian table tennis player . He won two medals at the 1926 World Cup .

Freudenheim was a member of the Vienna Athletic Club. In 1925 and 1926 he was Austrian national champion in singles.

He represented Austria at the first World Cup in London. In the team competition, the team reached the final, which it lost to Hungary. In this final, Freudenheim defeated Béla von Kehrling and lost to Zoltán Mechlovits and Dániel Pécsi . In the individual he made it to the quarterfinals, where he was eliminated by SRG Suppiah from India. He also made it to the quarterfinals in doubles with P. Ranger from London. Here the Hungarians Zoltán Mechlovits / Béla von Kehrling were too strong. In mixed with the Austrian Gertrude Wildam he won bronze. In the semifinals, the couple lost against eventual world champions Zoltán Mechlovits / Mária Mednyánszky from Hungary.

In 1928 Freudenheim moved to Poland for two years for professional reasons.
