Oskar Eduard Hueck
Oskar Eduard Hueck (born October 8, 1886 in Lüdenscheid ; † October 29, 1966 there ) was a German industrial pioneer and founder of the Lüdenscheid aluminum industry.
In 1920 Hueck founded the aluminum foil rolling mill Hueck & Cie. Hueck invented the foil finishing process for aluminum foils by means of wax and glue lamination for the packaging industry. The first deliveries to dairies, the chocolate industry and other food manufacturers were made from 1921.
On October 1, 1956, Hueck received the 1st Class Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his pioneering achievements .
Today the company founded by Hueck belongs to Constantia Packaging AG , which was founded in 1994 .
