Eduard Knoch

Eduard Knoch (born June 19, 1814 in Schilbach , † May 6, 1891 in Blankenburg ) was a businessman and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Knoch attended high school in Schleiz and completed commercial training in various trading houses in Magdeburg . He later worked as a businessman in Magdeburg and Hamburg. In 1864 he withdrew from business life because of his poor health. In 1868 he was elected as a member of the state parliament in Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and in 1870 as president of the state parliament of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt , which he remained until he left in 1878.

From 1878 to 1881 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt and the National Liberal Party .
