Eduard Krell

Eduard Krell (born July 17, 1805 in Meiningen ; † March 6, 1879 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Krell studied law at the University of Jena . He was reciprocated in the Corps Franconia Jena in 1825 and twice distinguished himself as consenior . He entered the service of the city of Meiningen. When Lord Mayor Kaspar Philipp Fromm went to Römhild as a district judge , Krell was second mayor and town clerk . At that time he was responsible for all the business of the magistrate and the police. On April 7, 1846 he was appointed ducal lord mayor and residence police director. After 28 years of service, he retired in 1874 at the age of 69.
