Han Kwang-song ( Korean 한광 성 ; born September 11, 1998 in Pyongyang ) is a North Korean football player who is under contract with the Qatari first division club al-Duhail SC . The striker is a North Korean international .
Career
Han Kwang-song switched to the youth of the Serie A club Cagliari Calcio in 2017 . He made his debut for the professional team Cagliaris on April 2, 2017 as the first North Korean ever in Serie A. He was substituted on in the 3-1 away win over US Palermo in the final phase of the game. On April 9, he scored his first goal for Rossoblu . He scored the last goal of the day in the 2-3 home defeat against FC Turin .
On August 7, 2017, it was awarded to the Serie B club AC Perugia for six months . In the 2017/18 season he was used in 17 games, in which he was able to score seven goals and prepare three more.
On August 15, 2018, he moved to Perugia again on loan. There he scored four goals in 20 league games.
On September 2, 2019, Han Kwang-song switched to the U-23 team Juventus Turin in a one-year loan deal , which also secured a mandatory purchase option of 3.5 million euros for the striker , which will be activated after the end of the loan period .
The purchase option was drawn on January 1, 2020, but Han moved it on to Qatari first division club al-Duhail SC seven days later for a transfer fee of five million euros .
