Eduard Moser (politician)

Eduard Moser (born December 1, 1915 in Maria Enzersdorf ; † January 31, 1987 in Eisbach ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and high school professor. From 1965 to 1950 he was a member of the Styrian Landtag and from 1970 to 1979 a member of the National Council .

After elementary school, Moser attended a humanistic grammar school and then studied at the University of Graz, where he received his doctorate in 1941. In 1946 he passed the teaching examination for mathematics and physics, after which he was employed between 1946 and 1954 as a professor at the higher technical federal teaching and research institute Graz - Gösting . In 1954 he was appointed state youth officer to the Styrian state government and later appointed court councilor.

Moser represented the ÖVP in the Styrian state parliament from October 19, 1965 and switched to the National Council on March 31, 1970, to which he was a member until June 4, 1979. He was also the chairman of the defense policy committee of the ÖAAB Styria and from 1973 vice-president of the Austrian Civil Protection Association.
