Eduard Theodor von Falz-Fein

Eduard Theodor von Falz-Fein (born June 4, 1912 in Askanija-Nowa , Russian Empire , † June 17, 1974 in Berlin ) was a Liechtenstein bobsleigh driver.

Career

Eduard Theodor von Falz-Fein started in 1936 in bobsleigh for Liechtenstein at the IV Olympic Winter Games in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1936 . He reached 18th place in the two-man bobsleigh with his brakeman Eugen Büchel .

For a while, Falz-Fein was considered the “oldest surviving Olympian”, but it turned out that it had been confused with his cousin Eduard Alexandrowitsch von Falz-Fein (1912-2018), who was born in the same year .

Eduard Theodor von Falz-Fein died on June 17, 1974 in Berlin.
