Edvin Sabri Murati (born November 12, 1975 in Tirana ) is a former Albanian football player who also has French nationality. He usually played in left attacking midfield .

Career

In 1995, at the age of 18, he moved to France to Paris Saint-Germain and was loaned to LB Châteauroux after a year without a job . After another one-year loan to St. Brieux, he played again for PSG in 1997/98, which won the "triple" of cup, league cup and supercup that season. However, Murati was only used once this season.

In the 1998/99 season he played for Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 2nd Bundesliga and made eleven season appearances . He then moved back to PSG. From 2000 to 2002 he played for Lille OSC .

In 2002 he moved to Iraklis Thessaloniki in Greece, where he played until 2006 and was released to Panserraikos in the Beta Ethniki at the beginning of the 2006/07 season . He ended his career there in early 2008.

Murati played 42 times for the Albanian national team and scored four goals.

He currently runs a sports agency in Paris in cooperation with Paris Saint-Germain to promote Albanian football talents.
