Edward Hamilton, 4th Baronet

Sir Edward Archibald Hamilton, 4th Baronet (born January 26, 1843 - October 19, 1915 ) was a British nobleman and military man.

He was the son of John James Edward Hamilton (1808-1847) and the Favoretta Corbett.

He served in the British Army as a Captain in the Coldstream Guards .

At the death of his paternal grandfather, the Admiral Sir Edward Hamilton, 1st Baronet (1772-1851), he inherited the title of 2nd Baronet , of Marlborough House in the County of Southampton in 1851 , which was awarded to this in 1819 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom had been. On the death of his great cousin Charles Hamilton, 3rd Baronet , he inherited the title of 4th Baronet , of Trebinshun House in the County of Brecon , which had been bestowed on his great-grandfather John Hamilton in 1776 . The two titles remained united until they expired in 2008 when his grandson the 7th Baronet died.

On May 28, 1867, he married Mary Elizabeth Gill. With her he had two sons:
