Edward Nowak

Edward Nowak (born February 21, 1940 in Nowy Żmigród ) is a curial archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church .

Life

Nowak was ordained a priest on January 13, 1963 for the diocese of Przemysl . On February 24, 1990 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To Titular Archbishop of Luni and secretary of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints . The episcopal ordination donated him John Paul II on April 5, 1990. St. Peter's Basilica ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishops Giovanni Battista Re and Justin Francis Rigali . On May 5, 2007, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him to the assessor of the Equestrian Order of the Holy grave in Jerusalem .
