Edward Scheidt

Edward Michael Scheidt (born July 20, 1939 in California ) is the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Cryptographic Center. He is the originator of the cryptographic system, which is in the Kryptos sculpture at the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. Scheidt went to the army . He graduated from the University of Maryland and George Washington University . In 1990 he is the founder of TecSec, Incorporated.
