Edward Spencer
Edward Spencer ( Edward Adams Spencer ; born November 5, 1881 in Salford , † May 6, 1965 in Isleworth, London Borough of Hounslow ) was a British walker .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1908 , he won the bronze medal in 1: 21: 20.2 h in the 10-mile track walking behind his compatriots George Larner (1: 15: 57.4 h) and Ernest Webb (1:17:31) , 0 h) and in front of the simultaneous Frank Carter , who also represented the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland .
Edward Spencer started for the Polytechnic Harriers.
