The Edwards Islands are a group of islands off the west coast of the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They are located 3 miles southwest of Mount Oldfield in the eastern part of Amundsen Bay .

Aerial photographs taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used to map them. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after Thomas A. Edwards, a diesel generator set mechanic at Wilkes Station in 1960.
