Mount Oldfield is a coastal mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises on the east bank of Amundsen Bay immediately west of Mount Hardy in the eastern part of the Tula Mountains .
It was mapped using aerial photographs taken by members of a team on the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1956. The Australian geodesist Graham Alexander Knuckey (1934–1969) made a position determination during a visit to the mountain in November 1958. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named him after Robert Eric Thomas Oldfield (* 1929), a radio operator on Mawson Station in 1958.
